A day at the beach

Last saturday I have spent a day at the seaside. To be precise in Belgium in Knokke. It was my first time in Knokke, a chic place with lots of fine restaurants and bars. The beach section little way off the centre was well-kept and not overcrowded, so one could relax superb.

In the evening I came across a beach bar, which I can highly recommend. Unfortunately I can not  remember the name of the bar, but it was next to a sailing club. A pleasant public, good drinks and cosy sitting accomodations were a nice conclusion of the evening.

Am Wochenende war ich einen Tag am Meer. Genau genommen in Belgien in Knokke. Es war mein erstes Mal in Knokke und es ist ein schicker Ort mit vielen schönen Restaurants und Bars. Der Strandabschnitt etwas weg vom Zentrum war sehr sauber und gepflegt und nicht überlaufen, daher konnte man sich herrlich entspannen.

Abends machte ich zufällig eine Strandbar ausfindig, die ebenfalls sehr empfehlenswert ist. Ich weiß leider nicht mehr wie sie heißt, aber sie befindet sich direkt neben einem Segelclub. Ein sehr angenehmes Publikum, gute Getränke und gemütliche Loungesitze bildeten einen guten Abschluss meiner eintägigen Tour.
